THE FUTURE OF ESG AND SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS

THE FUTURE OF ESG AND SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS

How Sustainability Can Create Competitive Advantage for Business – As we were asked to explain to an audiences of several thousand business leaders: Putting principles over profits will be a must for businesses hoping to remain competitive going forward – customers are now increasingly putting a premium on companies that that eco responsibility seriously, and we already see in surveys that corporate leaders (especially in Europe) believe themselves to be some of the most important stewards of the green movement. As many of the world’s largest companies have already discovered, embracing these concepts can help boost customer empathy, awareness, loyalty, enthusiasm, etc. Noting this, we were also asked to break down why there are many reasons (and some of the ways) that going green is good for a business, and can help set them apart from rivals.

Why Tomorrow’s Business Will Be Smarter and More Sustainable – It’s no secret that customers increasingly are demanding a focus on social good and corporate responsibility, even as technology is providing massive opportunities to boost cost-efficiency and savings. As part of our recent market research, we got to take a closer look at how the future of business is evolving, how the sustainability movement is developing, and what happens as these worlds collide more frequently going forward.

How Companies Can Make the Shift to Sustainability – Something important we learned while working on a recent research project is as follows: It’s one thing to say you’ll go green – another to create a tangible roadmap to doing so as a business. Bearing this in mind, it’s no surprise that our partner also asked us to explain how you can ideate and execute a working strategic plan to make the shift here, including what to keep in mind as you go about planning, auditing, and optimizing your operations. In other words, we were retained to explain what it takes from a practical standpoint to transition to greener solutions, and what corporate leaders around the world need to be thinking about from a tactical standpoint as they weigh considerations here.
